I personally have never experienced a more enriching program that's full of such wisdom and inspires so much growth than I have at The Stella Adler Academy LA. Her teachings and the respect for the craft are held in the highest regards here. This was to protect the school she created and avoid confusing future students, like yourself, from being mislead to think any school other than her's that pops-up once she was gone is the "official" LA Stella Adler acting school. The reason Art of Acting can't use Stella Adler's name is because Stella herself made sure that no one else (not even those that would inherit the NY Studio) would open a school using her name in Los Angeles in the future. I have personally seen the Articles of Incorporation that were signed the year Stella Adler opened the LA school with Irene Gilbert and Joanne Linville. I am a student of the school he/she is referring to, The Stella Adler Academy of Acting Los Angeles. Hey!
